VHL6 / CRICS9 take place every 2-3 years as a main line of action of the technical cooperation of BIREME / PAHO / WHO in scientific information, knowledge and evidence. It is the main forum in the Latin America Region and the Caribbean Area that mobilizes the institutions operating the VHL and associated networks to inform and socialize the state of the art in scientific and technical information and communication in the Region and Globally, as well as to exchange ideas, experience, information, knowledge, learned lessons, innovations and elaborate conclusions and recommendations for the progress of the networks. It also represents the reference event for the launch of new versions and innovations of products and services of VHL.
The general organization of the event will be coordinated between the Ministry of Health of Chile, with the operational support of the National Health Fund (FONASA) and PAHO (Pan American Health Organization), through the PAHO/WHO Office in Chile and BIREME.
The governance structure of the VHL6/CRICS9 includes national, international, scientific and other committees. BIREME is working closely with PAHO Chile, Ministry of Health and FONASA in the organization of the event
The structure and the distribution activities of VHL6/CRICS9 from 21 and 24 are the following:
Day 21 - morning and afternoon: Plenary meeting of VHL6 and Associated Networks
Day 21 - evening: Inauguration of CRICS9, Opening Conference and cocktail
22 to 24 - morning: Meeting of the Thematic Networks and Working Groups
22 to 24 - lunch break: Poster
22 to 24 - afternoon: CRICS9, with two panels per afternoon
22 to 24 - night: social and cultural activities.
The organization and conduction of the thematic networks meetings will be responsibility of the corresponding coordinating institutions. We recommend that this organization be conducted by a committee formed by the network coordinator, a representative of a network Chilean institution and by another institution from a LA&C country.
We count on your cooperation to lead network meeting. We also inform that BIREME will organize a series of preparatory meetings from next May / June involving the national and thematic networks to socialize the state of development as well as the challenges and recommendations to inform the VHL6/CRICS9. |
